Marsela has 20 years of experience in the clinical trials industry with involvement in early and late phase programs. She has been involved in over 250 studies involving healthy participants and patients in a wide range of therapeutic areas. In her long career, Marsela has successfully fulfilled numerous mandates such as clinical research coordinator, clinical research manager, clinical trial manager, regulatory manager and compliance manager.
Her expertise includes oversight of staff training programs, supervision and management of clinical trial departments, facilitation of internal and external audits, implementation and supervision of quality assurance systems. Marsela obtained her Medical Degree from the Sechenov Medical Academy in Russia with a specialty in ophthalmology. She also holds a registered medical assistant certificate and a clinical research coordinator certificate.
